Former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu may not be the most active on Twitter, but that did not stop him from sending out a cryptic tweet Tuesday that could be hinting at his Hall of Fame presenter.
Polamalu tweeted a picture of himself alongside longtime Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau containing speech bubbles that seem to illustrate the former asking the latter to be his presented.
“Put me in coach,” Polamalu exclaims.
“I’d be honored,” LeBeau replies.

The Hall of Fame and the Steelers later confirmed the news that LeBeau will present Polamalu in Canton this August.

Polamalu played eleven seasons of his 12-year career under LeBeau, who’s tutelage helped him become one of the best safeties in NFL history.
He totaled 783 total tackles, 56 tackles-for-loss, 32 interceptions, 14 forced fumbles, 12 sacks and five defensive touchdowns.
Not only did Polamalu win a pair of Super Bowls in Pittsburgh, but he was also named a Pro Bowler eight times, received First-Team All-Pro honors on four occasions and won 2010 NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
While Polamalu, former Steelers head coach Bill Cowher and the rest of the 2020 class were supposed to be inducted last summer, they will now be enshrined on August 7 in Canton.
