Pittsburgh Steelers offensive linemen Mason McCormick and Calvin Anderson are both questionable to play this Saturday in the Wild Card round of the 2024 NFL playoffs against the Baltimore Ravens, the team announced on Thursday.

McCormick suffered a broken hand last week against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was limited in practice all three days this week, with a cast on his left hand. Spencer Anderson would be in line to start at right guard for the Steelers if McCormick is unable to dress against the Ravens.

The team’s fourth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, McCormick was not expected to play a large role for the Steelers this season, but after starting right guard James Daniels went down for the season with an Achilles injury in Week 4, McCormick started the final 14 games of the regular season.

Spencer Anderson was the Steelers’ first choice as a backup guard. He started the first three games of the season at left guard, in place of injured starter Isaac Seumalo. In Week 3, McCormick got some snaps in rotation, and he moved into the starting lineup the next week.

In Week 4, Daniels was injured and both Anderson and McCormick played before Seumalo returned in Week 5. Since then, Anderson has worked as the top backup at both guard spots and right tackle, as well as being the team’s extra offensive lineman.

Calvin Anderson is also listed as questionable to play this week. He suffered a groin injury in practice down the stretch run of the season and was placed on the injured reserve list on Dec. 14. Anderson was a full participant in practice all week, but he remains on the injured reserve list, and the Steelers will have to make a spot on the 53-man roster in order to activate him for the trip to Baltimore to face the Ravens.

Anderson has been the top backup to left tackle Dan Moore Jr. since h was signed, but played just one snap of offense during the regular season.
