Watch: George Pickens Makes Toe-Tapping Touchdown Grab
PITTSBURGH — George Pickens has taken the NFL and the Steelers by storm by being the star of Steelers training camp thus far. In his first NFL in-game action, Pickens made a toe-tapping grab on the back pylon for a touchdown against Seahawks cornerback Coby Bryant. It was just another great play by Pickens who has had a great training camp thus far.
It gave the Steelers their second touchdown of the game after Mitch Trubisky connected with Gunner Olszewski for a 13-yard touchdown earlier in the game. Pickens has 3 receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown thus far in the game. The rookie continues to impress not only in a practice setting but now in a game setting.
He has exciting tools that the Steelers are excited about, and it is not hard to see why. A toe-tapping grab such as the one Pickens made is not something that comes from the rookie wide receivers that often. However, Pickens has been a star in his NFL career up to this point.
The toe tap on this play is classic Pickens stuff from training camp this year. Great play and spatial awareness. pic.twitter.com/myPDkZzhBW
