In the second quarter of Sunday’s Steelers-Browns game at Acrisure Stadium, the CBS cameras captured J.J. Watt teaching his 2-year-old son Koa how to wave the Terrible Towel. For sure, it was a wholesome moment for the Watt family, as they cheer on T.J. and the Steelers.

J.J. is an analyst for the CBS NFL Today pregame show, so his opportunities to watch his brother play are limited.

Sunday’s moment with his son is a memory that will last a lifetime.

J.J. posted a clip on X of his son working on the Terrible Towel twirl.

“We’re workin on the twirl over here!” J.J. wrote on X.

Steelers All-Pro outside linebacker T.J. Watt had a huge strip sack on Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow in Sunday’s 44-38 win. He now has a league-best five forced fumbles. Out of Watt’s five forced fumbles, three were strip sacks. He also tied James Harrison for second place in franchise history with 32 strip sacks. Greg Lloyd has the record with 33.

In addition to his five forced fumbles, Watt enters Week 14 with 43 tackles (31 solos), 9.5 sacks, 16 tackles for loss, 23 quarterback hits and two fumble recoveries. He is currently the odds-on favorite at -200 to win NFL Defensive Player of the Year, according to Sports Betting Dime.

Watt was vocal this offseason about the fact that he hasn’t won a playoff game in his career. He reiterated that message in a one-on-one interview with DJ Siddiqi of Sports Casting on behalf of his partnership with Peloton.

“Anybody who has followed me throughout my career knows that it’s all about the team and just trying to get to the playoffs and have success when we get there,” Watt said. “I’m just trying to win games and get to the playoffs and have my first playoff win. It has been a huge thorn in my side since I’ve been here.”
