Sports Now Group is seeking a reporter to add to our Steelers Now team that provides in-person coverage of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Steelers Now has been covering the Steelers daily since 2019, and is searching for someone to join our team, led by veteran Pittsburgh sportswriter Alan Saunders. Duties will include regular coverage of the Steelers throughout the calendar year, including OTAs and minicamp, training camp, practices, home and road games, as well as coverage of league events like the NFL Combine, Senior Bowl and others.
Candidates should have experience covering major professional or college sports, and must be in or be willing to relocate to the Pittsburgh area. This will primarily be a writing position, but opportunities may exist for on-camera and podcasting. Candidates with some level of multimedia experience are preferred.
This is a contract position, with a base pay and bonus structure.
