Tomlin received Coach of the Year votes last season after navigating the Steelers to an 8-8 record and near playoff appearance following a dismal 1-4 start.

Winning Super Bowl XLIII in just his second season, Tomlin has also never had a losing season over his 14 years in Pittsburgh. He led the Steelers to another Super Bowl appearance in 2010, but ultimately lost to the Green Bay Packers.

Expectations are high for the Steelers in 2020, as they will return franchise quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and boast one of the league’s top defenses.

Two other AFC North head coaches have betters odds than Tomlin. New Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski is 18/1, while Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh comes in at 25/1. Harbaugh took home Coach of the Year honors last season.

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coaches Bruce Arians are tied for the best odds to win Coach of the Year at 12/1.

New York Jets head coach Adam Gase, Houston Texans head coach Bill O’Brien, and Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone have the worst odds to win the award at 50/1.
