Today, Alan gives his perspective on Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, who was pulling the strings behind Wednesday’s ultra-physical practice, and what makes Tomlin such a master motivator that has been able to lead his team over multiple generations of NFL players.
Tomlin started motivating his players on Wednesday with a post to Instagram, referencing a meme about sneakers. Tomlin has been the Steelers’ head coach since 2007. Instagram wasn’t invented until 2010. On longevity of leadership, and why Tomlin has continued to be so good at it:
