The Steelers are tied with the Buffalo Bills for the second overall seed in the AFC playoff picture entering Week 15. Their game against the Philadelphia Eagles won’t help them break their conference record deadlock with the Bills, but it could help their strength of victory tiebreaker, where Buffalo has a big lead.

Of course, wins over two of the best two teams in football would lift the chances of the team winning any game, no matter where they’re seeded, and overall record is the first consideration.
