All eyes have been on Texas this week, as winter storms have left millions across the state without power and water amid bitterly cold temperatures.

Recognizing the pain and struggles Texans are experiencing, Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Zach Banner is stepping up and lending a helping hand.

Banner announced on Twitter on Saturday that his B3 Foundation is making donations to a trio of organizations that will help those across the state throughout this crisis.

Donations will be made to the Genesis Women’s Shelter, the Houston Food Bank and LifeWorks Austin, all organizations providing life-saving resources during these unprecedented times.

The Genesis Women’s Shelter provides “shelter, safety, counseling and expert services to women and children who have experienced domestic violence.”

The Houston Food Bank continues to distribute critical food and bottled water to those without. The lack of power has depleted supplies for both.

LifeWorks Austin “helps youth and families experiencing homelessness on their pathway to self-sufficiency.”
