Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Zach Banner is hosting a virtual seminar that’s aimed to help individuals find their voices and combat hate in their communities.

Banner is partnering with the USC Shoah Foundation and WNBA star Alysha Clark to host “Stronger Than Hate: Activate Your Voice,” a live, 45-minute discussion directed toward “elevating humanity, inspiring hope, and empowering a generation of changemakers.”

The event is a joint project between Banner’s B3 Foundation, the USC Shoah Foundation and Pittsburgh Public Schools, and will include live discussion with the Steelers offensive tackle.

“Stronger Than Hate: Activate Your Voice” is set for Thursday, April 29 at 1 p.m.

While initially designed for students, anyone interested is able to attend the virtual event.

Those interested in participating can register here.

The USC Shoah Foundation retains a visual archive of “55,000 testimonies of genocide survivors and witnesses contains countless examples of the dangers of unchecked identity-based hatred, from antisemitism and gender-based discrimination to racism.”
