Zach Banner Volunteers at STEM Summer Camp, Helps Beautify Homewood Park
Pittsburgh Steelers right tackle Zach Banner may still be recovering from the torn ACL that ended his 2020 season prematurely, but his recuperation has not stopped him from continuing to be a superstar off the field.
Banner was making an impact in the Pittsburgh community again Tuesday, this time joining local middle schoolers in STEM activities at the Community College of Allegheny County’s Verizon Summer Camp.

But Banner was not satisfied with just one opportunity to give back, as he pulled double duty and also joined The Mission Continues, the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Park Conservancy to help beautify Westinghouse Park in Homestead.
“I love the Homewood area,” Banner tweeted. “Glad I could help!”
A huge thank you also goes out to @RepGainey, @erikastrassbrgr, and @ZBNFL of the @steelers. pic.twitter.com/C29DOzEThB
