? Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens randomly did a WWE-esque move in Monday night’s game against the New York Giants. Pickens jumped to avoid getting rolled up on and landed on Giants linebacker Robert Okereke. It looked like something that you would see on Monday Night Raw.

? J.J. Watt trolled Giants right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor for asking for 1-on-1 reps against his brother T.J. He posted a meme on X that said, “You sure about that?”

To say the least, Eluemunor’s comment of wanting Watt on an island didn’t age well. Watt had two sacks, the second of which a drive-killing strip sack of Daniel Jones as the Steelers beat the Giants, 26-18.

Watt said afterward that he was aware of the comments made by Eluemunor, but took the high road after the victory, saying they didn’t provide any additional motivation that contribution to his performance.

? On Monday night, Steelers outside linebacker Alex Highsmith generated a career-high 12 pressures and two sacks on 38 pass rushes, with 11 pressures and a sack coming against left tackle Chris Hubbard, who was signed off the 49ers’ practice squad just 10 days ago, according to Next Gen Stats.

Highsmith recorded six pressures in under 2.5 seconds, his sixth game over the last three seasons with 5+ quick pressures. Only Myles Garrett and Micah Parsons (9 each) have more games with 5+ quick pressures since 2022.

? Steelers All-Pro outside linebacker T.J. Watt used his vintage rip to corner move on his strip sack late in Monday night’s win over the Giants.

? T.J. Watt called Joey Porter Sr. over into the pregame hype circle before Monday night’s game.

? Steelers wide receiver/punt returner Calvin Austin III wrote “All God” on X after his standout performance on Monday night.

Austin is the fifth player in Steelers history with a receiving touchdown and punt return for a touchdown in the same game. He is also only the third player in the last 20 years to record a receiving touchdown and punt return for a touchdown on Monday Night Football.
