If the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to take a run at any of the Denver Broncos players that might be available in the NFL trade market, the cost of doing business is starting to come into focus. The Broncos are entertaining trade calls on wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton and cornerback Patrick Surtain II, and now according to Breer, the prices have been established.

The Broncos are actively looking to add to their draft capital, according to a report by Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, and are seeking a first-round pick for Jeudy and a second-round pick for Sutton.

Jeudy, a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, has 25 catches for 286 yards this season. The best season of his career came in 2022, when he caught 67 passes for 972 yards and six scores.

Sutton, 28, had his best season back in 2019, when he earned a Pro Bowl nod after grabbing 124 passes for 1,112 yards and six scores. He has 31 catches for 351 yards and five touchdowns this season.

As for Surtain, the price could be extremely steep. Breer reported that the price is more than what the Jacksonville Jaguars got for Jalen Ramsey in 2019, which was two first-round picks and a fourth.

Diana Russini of The Athletic reported that the Broncos are not motivated sellers when it comes to Surtain.

“The Broncos are not selling cheaply,” one NFL GM said to Russini.

The Steelers haven’t made such a splash in their history, with the move to acquire safety Minkah Fitzpatrick in 2019 — one of the biggest in team history — only sending one first-round pick to the Miami Dolphins.
