The NFL has fined Cleveland Browns defensive end Jadaveon Clowney for throwing Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool’s shoe on Monday night.
Clowney was fiend $12,875 by the league for the toss, which came after a seemingly innocent play in the first half of the Monday Night Football game between the Steelers and Ravens.

Clowney was also flagged for a 15-yard penalty on the play, which allowed the Steelers to get a new set of downs. They eventually scored a touchdown as a result, with Ben Roethlisberger throwing to Diontae Johnson to give Pittsburgh the lead for good.
