🏈 Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin gave high praise to new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith and his two new quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Justin Fields during an interview with Peter Schrager of NFL Network.

“All three guys – to be really transparent – have something to prove professionally…it’s not fun to relocate or get fired. But as competitors, it always motivates in the right way,” Tomlin told Schrager.

🏈 NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger thinks the Steelers won the draft.

“I thought the Steelers won the draft. They had been trying to rebuild their offensive line. Now it started last year when they drafted Broderick Jones, signed Isaac Seumalo. They want this offensive line to be amongst, if not the best. They go out and get Troy Fautanu. They go out and grab Zach Frazier. They went right down the highway right there to West Virginia to get Zach Frazier, their center of the future. You just heard him talking about the history of the centers. Roman Wilson, Payton Wilson, love it. I thought they got the best linebacker. I thought they got the best center. I thought they got one of the best offensive linemen in Fautanu. I really thought the Steelers helped themselves out,” Baldinger said.

🏈 Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward was with new draft picks Troy Fautanu, Zach Frazier and Payton Wilson at the Steelers Draft Party at Acrisure Stadium.

🏈 Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson loves the Steelers draft class.

“Love this draft class for us @Steelers !!! Tough. Physical. Smart. Athletic! Black & Gold!” Wilson wrote on X.

🏈 Steelers’ sixth-round selection cornerback Ryan Watts out of Texas allowed just one touchdown in college on 267 coverage snaps, according to Pro Football Focus. He also had a stellar run game grade of 84.9 since 2022.
