The Pittsburgh Steelers got an up-close look at one of the top games of the 2022 college football season and George Pickens avoided a fine to go along with his ejection last Sunday.

🏈 Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has more touchdowns (12) than 10 other teams this year. The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of those teams, as they rank last in the league with just seven touchdown receptions.

🏈 With the Chicago Bears falling to the New York Jets on Sunday, the Steelers are now projected to have the 33rd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, thanks to the Chase Claypool trade. If the season ended now, Pittsburgh would have three picks in the top 40 of the draft (fifth, 33rd and 36th).

🏈 Steelers rookie wide receiver George Pickens was not fined by the league for his ejection last week after hitting Tyler Boyd late on an onside kick play. Pickens was unmoved by his ejection for hitting Boyd late and deemed it as a non-issue.

🏈 Steelers legend Franco Harris’ elbow pads are on display at the Steelers Hall of Honor Museum.

🏈 The Steelers rank 28th in the league in points per game (17.0), while the Indianapolis Colts rank 31st (15.7). The point total for the Steelers-Colts game on Monday night is 39.5 points.

🏈 The Steelers had a scout at the Ohio State-Michigan game on Saturday. The Steelers have four alumni of those two teams on their roster (DT Cam Heyward, TE Zach Gentry, ILB Devin Bush, C Mason Cole). They also had representation at the Pitt-Miami game.

🏈 Frustration is mounting in Denver. With the Broncos getting blown out by the Carolina Panthers in the fourth quarter, defensive tackle Mike Purcell expressed his displeasure by getting in quarterback Russell Wilson’s face. Denver is averaging 14.27 points per game this season, the worst by any team in the NFL since the 2000 Browns (10.1).

🏈 The Jacksonville Jaguars upset the Baltimore Ravens, 28-27, on Sunday. Per Elias Sports Bureau, this was the Jaguars’ first win in franchise history when trailing by 7+ points in the final minute of regulation. They were 0-183 in franchise history entering the day.

🏈 Running back Josh Jacobs’ 86-yard walk-off touchdown run lifted the Las Vegas Raiders to a 40-34 overtime win over the Seattle Seahawks. Jacobs went off against Seattle, as he rushed for 229 yards on 33 carries (6.9 average) and two touchdowns. He also had six receptions for 74 yards (12.3 average). In total, Jacobs had 303 yards from scrimmage, which is a franchise record. Jacobs compiled 48.3 fantasy points.

🏈 The New England Patriots sent their team plane down to Charlottesville to help players get to the three funerals of their fallen teammates held in three different states.

🏈 New York Jets quarterback Mike White is the first quarterback in NFL history to have multiple games with at least a 75% completion percentage, 300 passing yards and three passing touchdown within his first four career starts. White led the Jets to a 31-10 win over the Bears. White started in place of Zach Wilson, who was benched by head coach Robert Saleh on Wednesday.
