🏈 Former Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell said that getting leaner might help Najee Harris.

“Sometimes it’s just the extra step. That’s all you need to take a run from two yards to about nine — just barely squeeze through the hole,” Bell said on Cam Heyward’s Not Just Football podcast.

Bell has made the same suggestion previously in May. Stating that he was 244 pounds as a rookie and dropped 20 pounds before the next season. Harris is currently listed at 242 pounds on the Steelers.com website.

“I think he’s a special runner. I think he can see the holes. I even think he knows how to set up his runs,” Bell said. “Some guys need a hole, and some guys know how to finesse a run and know how to set it up to make something out of nothing, He’s so good at that, and I think he can be even better if he’s a little lighter.”

🏈 WTAE: The Penn State All-Sports Museum is working on a mural to honor Franco Harris — but they need help from Steelers Nation. The artwork will be a photo mosaic made up of fan photos of the legendary Pittsburgh Steeler. Whether it’s from his time at Penn State, in the black and gold or any other appearance, they want your submission. It’s free, and the only requirement: you have to be in the photo with Franco. The goal is to get more than 7,500 pictures.

🏈 Mike Tomlin spoke with the Houston media about playing the Texans.

Stroud is the first quarterback in NFL history to have over 900 passing yards, four pass touchdowns, and zero interceptions in his first three starts.

🏈 Along with Asante Samuel, former New England Patriots nose tackle Vince Wilfork has also commented on Ben Roethlisberger and Jerome Bettis’ statements that the Patriots cheated against the Steelers in the 2004 AFC Championship Game.
