? Cover 2 was a big discussion in the football world on Thursday after Mel Kiper said two-high safeties should be abolished in the NFL. Former Steelers defensive back and Hall of Fame head coach Tony Dungy thanked Dan Orlovsky for including him in the legacy of Cover 2 but the Tampa version wasn’t near the beginning of the story.

“Cover 2 was introduced to the NFL by Bud Carson and the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1973 – 51 years ago. I took the Tampa version right out of the Steeler playbook,” Dungy said.

? Chargers offensive coordinator Greg Roman is not looking forward to dealing with All-Pro outside linebacker T.J. Watt on Sunday.

“As far as [Maxx] Crosby Week 1, now you got T.J. Watt Week 3. I mean, hey, Merry Christmas,” Roman said.

? The Steelers and Chargers have the best defenses in the NFL through two games.

? Le’Veon Bell’s game-winning touchdown at the buzzer against the Chargers in 2015 was one of the most memorable Steelers-Chargers moment.

? Dan Orlovsky thinks Justin Fields should be the Steelers’ permanent starter with a win on Sunday vs. the Chargers.

? Ohio State is the only school with two quarterbacks that are 2-0 — Justin Fields and C.J. Stroud.
