Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar to Perform at Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show

Five hip-hop artists will share the stage for the Super Bowl Halftime Show in Los Angeles in February.

Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar will perform during the halftime of Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Feb. 13, 2022.

As a whole, the five artist have won 43 Grammys and created 22 No. 1 Billboard albums. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Lamar are all Los Angeles natives.

“The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career,” Dr. Dre said in a press release.

The collaboration was brought together by the NFL, show sponsor Pepsi and musical entertainment company Roc Nation, founded by rapper Jay-Z.

The Super Bowl halftime show is annually the most-watched musical performance of the year. The Weeknd performed in 2021, while Shakira and Jennifer Lopez headlined the 2020 show.
