The Pittsburgh Steelers made significant additions to their team this offseason, revamping the offensive line by bringing in Isaac Seumalo and Nate Herbig, adding veterans Cole Holcomb, Elandon Roberts, Patrick Peterson and Keanu Neal to the defense and landing a nationally lauded 2023 NFL Draft class.

The club will also go into the season with Kenny Pickett entrenched as a starting quarterback for the first time, and the skill position group all returns from the end of last seasons.

But will that add up to improved results for the Steelers in 2023? The national oddsmakers believe they’re big underdogs to make the playoffs, and their most likely finish in the AFC North is last place.

Alan Saunders of Steelers Now joined the WPXI Final Word on Sunday night to discuss the Steelers and whether they’ve been underrated nationally.

The panel also talked about the Pirates’ recent skid, their City Connect jerseys, the Pittsburgh Maulers USFL playoff run and more.
