Locked On: Is Steelers 2024 QB on the Roster Right Now?

A lot of the discussion among Pittsburgh Steelers fans has been about Kenny Pickett and Mason Rudolph, but is there a possibility that the team’s starting quarterback for the 2024 season is not currently on the roster?

There is a decent-sized crop of experienced starters that are expected to be available, including potentially Justin Fields, Russel Wilson, Kirk Cousins, Ryan Tannehill, Baker Mayfield, Jacoby Brissett and potentially Geno Smith.

Could one of those guys be the move the Steelers make to shore up the quarterback position, and if they did, would that be the end of the road for Pickett?

Alan Saunders joined Chris Carter on the Locked On Steelers Podcast to discuss that, as well as the stars and skulls grades from the team’s Wild Card loss to the Bufallo Bills. Plus, they discussed how Mike Tomlin’s lack of aggression was a notable takeaway from that game, after winning without being conservative down the stretch run.
