The Pittsburgh Steelers have been interviewing candidates for a pass-game coordinator position, and now have an opening at wide receivers coach. How should the Steelers proceed to fill that role?

Will they look to people that will function as a second offensive coordinator behind Arthur Smith, or ones that are more traditional wide receivers? What about coaches with ties to Smith from previous jobs? Should it be an experienced veteran or a young up-and-comer? And what about familiar names like Hines Ward, Antwaan Randle El and Brennan Marion? Where do they fit into the potential coaching picture?

Alan Saunders joined Chris Carter on the Locked On Podcast to discuss that, as well as talking about how the changes to college football could make the job more attractive to candidates than it once might have, plus the stars and skulls grades from the entire 2023 season at the outside linebacker position, and whether T.J. Watt will win the NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award, or if Myles Garrett of Cleveland will take it.
