Madden 23 dropped a new set of rankings on Wednesday, including the running backs. It left Steelers running back Najee Harris outside of the Top-10 running backs overall. In fact, Harris would come in https://twitter.com/NFL/status/1549787809451573249?s=20&t=hHuLgYFR4GZMk8jl9eisow”>ranked

as the 15th best running back in the game at an 85 overall.

It is still a massive lift from his Madden 22 rating, which was a 76 overall. Harris sprouts up almost 10 overall points as a result in Madden 23. Madden often institutes a two-year rule, where players must keep up their level of play, whether that is good or bad, before moving them too drastically up the board. As for the rest of the ratings revealed, here is the full list:

Minkah Fitzpatrick – 89 overall
Najee Harris – 85 overall
Chris Boswell – 82 overall
Terrell Edmunds – 78 overall
Damontae Kazee – 76 overall
Karl Joseph – 74 overall
Benny Snell – 73 overall
Anthony McFarland – 67 overall
Miles Killebrew – 67 overall
Tre Norwood – 65 overall
Trey Edmunds – 64 overall
Donovan Stiner – 62 overall
Christian Kuntz – 57 overall

Fitzpatrick comes in as the 11th-rated safety, which could be controversial in and of itself. Steelers kicker Chris Boswell is the 4th highest rated kicker in the game. Other than that, this looks just about right. Tre Norwood is the obvious one to get a bump up in their overall rating. Madden 23 will reveal the ratings for cornerbacks tomorrow as they continue to unveil their ratings over the week.
