BALTIMORE — The Steelers will be without inside linebacker Myles Jack for the rest of the game after he aggravated a groin injury that has hampered him for weeks.
Jack came into the game questionable with the groin injury, which popped up after the Carolina game, but he has never shaken the injury, and it has led to a performance and participation decline in the last few games. With it, Mark Robinson, Devin Bush, and Robert Spillane will play more in the game as the Steelers try to navigate a Ravens offense that has found plenty of success against them throughout the game.
Jack played in a limited role in the team’s Week 16 games against the Las Vegas Raiders. He missed the Week 15 game in Carolina. Jack did not practice on Wednesday and was limited on Thursday and Friday. Now, they are shorthanded with Tae Crowder on the bench after being made a gameday inactive. He joined the team on Tuesday.
Myles Jack was a critical player on Sunday and came in during Pittsburgh’s dime and nickel packages against the Ravens. Now, that role is going to Bush for the rest of the game more than likely. The Ravens have driven the ball and eaten up clock at will against the Steelers’ defense thus far. The loss of Jack will not help matters.
