The Pittsburgh Steelers did it, winning another game in dramatic comeback fashion on a final-minute Kenny Pickett touchdown pass to keep their improbable hopes of making the 2022 NFL playoffs alive with a 16-13 upset win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night.
Kenny Pickett just keeps showing us glimpses of the quarterback that he can become with these dazzling game-winning drives.
Once again, the Steelers got a little “Minkah Magic,” as starting free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick had his second game-sealing interception of the season, to go along with a game-winning fourth down pass breakup and an game-saving extra point block.
Najee Harris is taking a liking to the Steelers-Ravens rivalry. “It’s always good to talk a little shit.”
Cam Heyward was “a little irritated” about his personal foul penalty that set up Baltimore’s touchdown, but there seems to be some confusion about the cause of it.
Inside linebacker Myles Jack was dressed after being listed as questionable, but aggravated his groin injury and did not return after halftime.
Rookie Mark Robinson made his first career start, and made an impact in stopping the Baltimore rushing attack.
Cornerback James Pierre left the game in the first quarter while being evaluated for a concussion and did not return.
Before they took the field, the Steelers got all the playoff help they needed, with the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins both losing to keep Pittsburgh in the hunt.
Next week, the Steelers will face the Cleveland Browns at Acrisure Stadium. We don’t have a time yet, but that game will be on Sunday, Jan. 8.
