🏈 Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett and tight end Pat Freiermuth both acknowledged the hiring of new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith on Instagram.

🏈 The Steelers will play three teams with new head coaches in 2024 — Dan Quinn of the Washington Commanders, Raheem Morris of the Atlanta Falcons and Jim Harbaugh of the Los Angeles Chargers. Antonio Pierce is technically a new head coach but he served as an interim head coach with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023. The Steelers play the Raiders in 2024, as well. Mike Tomlin went 0-3 against teams with new head coaches in 2023; lost to DeMeco Ryans of the Houston Texans, Jonathan Gannon of the Arizona Cardinals and Shane Steichen of the Indianapolis Colts.

🏈 Steelers insider Mark Kaboly of The Athletic said on 93.7 The Fan that the Steelers reached out to a couple of college football assistant coaches about their offensive coordinator position.

🎥 The Pro Football Hall of Fame’s official account on X honored former Steelers strong safety Donnie Shell on Friday.  Shell’s 51 interceptions are the most by any strong safety in NFL history. Shell was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2021.
