The Steelers hosted four offensive tackles for workouts on Friday, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 in Houston. Those four tackles are Larnel Coleman, Christian DiLauro, Anderson Hardy, and Jean Delance.

Coleman came out of Umass in the 2021 NFL Draft. He was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the 7th round with the 232nd pick and stayed with the team through his entire rookie season before being waived in 2022. Following that, Coleman would catch on with the Carolina Panthers but was released during final cut-downs this summer. Coleman is a converted defensive end to tackle, with 36 1/4-inch arms sticking out as a massive boon for his stock. Despite those long arms, he still put up 24 bench reps at his pro day, showcasing his raw power.

Delance came out in the 2022 NFL Draft and went undrafted. He spent his first preseason with the Chicago Bears, playing nine snaps. At Florida, Delance started at right tackle for three years. He spent this summer with the Green Bay Packers before being released. Delance spent time on the Arizona Cardinals practice squad in 2022. He earned an East-West Shrine Bowl invite during the 2022 NFL Draft process.

Meanwhile, Hardy came out of Appalachian State as a starter at left tackle. After going undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft, Hardy was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs before being released. He projects as an NFL guard, playing both right and left guard in the preseason with the Chiefs despite starting most of his games in college at tackle. He earned All-Sun Belt honors both years as a two-year starter with Appalachian State.

DiLauro last worked with the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings signed him in August, but he did not earn a spot on their practice squad and got waived during final cut-downs. Across his six-season NFL career, DiLauro has played for eight teams but only in five career games.

The Steelers first signed DiLauro to their practice squad in 2019, and he spent the entire offseason with the team, working as a reserve left tackle. He can play both sides of the offensive line, working on both sides with some of the above-mentioned teams. Last year, he spent time with the Washington Commanders and the Broncos. In college, he played at right tackle and has logged some snaps at guard later in his career.
