Six Steelers Miss Practice With Injuries to Start Week 4

PITTSBURGH — Already dealing with a handful of injuries to key players, the Pittsburgh Steelers came out of their 23-18 Week 3 win over the Las Vegas Raiders with more bumps and bruises to worry about.

In total, six players missed practice on Wednesday due to injuries. Patrick Peterson and Isaac Seumalo both had the day off for rest days, which appears to be a cycle that will continue for the rest of the season. They are expected to return to practice tomorrow.

The three players that head coach Mike Tomlin mentioned in his press conference on Tuesday all did not practice. Allen Robinson (ankle), James Daniels (groin), and Pressley Harvin III (hamstring) sat out, though Tomlin did have optimism those participation reports would improve later in the week. Larry Ogunjobi (right foot) continues to work through the injury he suffered in training camp and sat out.

Chuks Okorafor (elbow) and Connor Heyward (ankle) were surprise inclusions on the injury report. Neither practiced on Wednesday. Miles Killebrew (knee) also popped up on the report out of nowhere, but he practiced in a limited fashion. Gunner Olszewski (concussion) practiced fully after missing the team’s game against the Raiders.
