The Madden 24 ratings have largely not been kind to the Steelers, and that continues at the running back position, where Najee Harris dropped in the rankings and overall wise in the game from where he was in Madden 23.

Harris is rated an 83 overall, but was an 85 overall last year. The Steelers tailback is the 18th rated back in the game, tied with Houston’s Dameon Pierce for that spot in the rankings. The lifeblood of the Steelers offense, Harris had an inefficient year in 2022 while battling a lisfranc injury for most of the first half.

In addition to Harris, Jaylen Warren checks in as a 74 overall. That’s further down the board, but there’s distinct separation between many backups and Warren on the hierarchy scale. Still, his ratings prop up his pass protection ability more than most in the game.

For the other running backs on the Steelers roster, Anthony McFarland is rated as a 67 overall while Jason Huntley checks in as a 64 overall. That will give the team one of the weaker backfields in the game considering the fact that Harris only tops out at 18th overall on the list.

Harris has played in 35 of 35 games in his two Steelers seasons, while getting more touches than any other running back in that span but has failed to be efficient in those touches, averaging under 4 yards per carry. However, a strong second half to the season where all his efficiency numbers climbed sharply could provide plenty of optimism on that front.

Offensive line ratings were revealed as well, with James Daniels and Isaac Seumalo claiming the top spots for the team on that spectrum. Rookie Broderick Jones came in at 73 overall, one overall higher than Dan Moore Jr. at left tackle. The game only has Mason Cole rated as a 72 overall, meanwhile.
