Mason Rudolph won’t take legal action against Myles Garrett, reports NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. According to Rapoport, Rudolph considers the situation to be exclusively an NFL matter.

This news closes an ugly 24 hours for the NFL that consisted of announcing suspensions and fines for several players involved in the incident that occurred in the final seconds of Thursday night’s game in Cleveland. Myles Garrett, who attacked Rudolph by hitting him over the head with his helmet, has been suspended indefinitely, with a minimum of the remainder of the 2019 regular season and playoffs. Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey and Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi have also been suspended for their roles in the brawl.

Even though Rudolph will not be pressing criminal charges, the Steelers quarterback made his true feelings about Garrett clear following the game. “It was bush league and a total coward move on his part,” Rudolph said. “It’s okay. I’ll take it. I’m not going to back down from anybody out there.”

The Steelers and Browns will meet again on Sunday, December 1st at Heinz Field.
