Should the Steelers Change Anything About Their Uniforms?

Published

on

With NFL teams deciding to occasionally change their uniforms, most recently the Cincinnati Bengals unveiling new stripes, it brings up the question – would want the Steelers to change anything about their uniforms?

Besides introducing alternate uniforms back in 2007, the Steelers have continuously decided to stand pat on their iconic look. Even the “new” throwback alternate uniforms were basically a throwback to the past.

The black and gold colors, which are synonymous with the Steelers and Pittsburgh sports in general, will never be changed, but that doesn’t mean they can’t alter the overall scheme of the uniforms in some way.

Much like the Bengals’ motivation for including some minor changes in their uniforms to signify the dawning of a new era of the franchise led by quarterback Joe Burrow, maybe it could be time for the Steelers to do the same when Ben Roethlisberger’s time is officially up.

If the Steelers are open to adjusting their uniforms, what changes would you like to see made?
