Welcome to the Steelers Afternoon Drive, our new daily podcast featuring all the latest Steelers news.

Alan Saunders and Zachary Smith are back to discuss all things Pittsburgh Steelers. It’s pretty clear that you can trust Kenny Pickett to go and win you a football game if he has the opportunity to at the end of the game. His ability to come up with game-winning drives in the 4th quarter of games has been on display since entering the league. How can we get to a point where we see more of that version of Kenny for the first 3 1/2 quarters, though? The league is trending down for offenses and up for defenses this season, with offensive numbers way down. Why is that the case? Can it all be attributed to bad QB play? Defenses doing a better job of figuring out the way modern NFL offenses run? What is it? One of the only NFL offenses who week in and week out is putting their talent on display is the Miami Dolphins. They incorporate a lot of stuff that if you look at Matt Canada’s pre-NFL resume, you would think he’d be incorporating more. Can they look to use Calvin Austin III and others in some similar situations? Jump in and let’s go for another Steelers Afternoon Drive!
