Steelers Afternoon Drive: Have the Steelers hit Rock Bottom Under Tomlin?

Welcome to the Steelers Afternoon Drive, our new daily podcast featuring all the latest Steelers news.

Alan Saunders and Zachary Smith are back to discuss the latest surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers. Well, the Steelers followed up their loss to the 2-10 Cardinals by losing to the 2-10 Patriots (both at home) just days later. Mike Tomlin’s team looked poised for a playoff berth this time last week and now sit on the outside looking in. They allowed 21 first half points to a Patriots team that came into this game as arguably the worst offensive in the league and Mitch Trubisky had very few answers for a stout Patriots defense under Bill Belichick. The question now becomes, can this fast-sinking ship be kept afloat? Is this a new low for the organization in the Tomlin era? Is he part of their future and if so, can we trust him/the organization to surround him with a better coaching staff?
