Versatility is what I believe defines #Steelers sixth round pick Ulysees Gilbert III. Here from the nickel spot, Gilbert times this perfectly. In this particular game against South Carolina, he was making plays all over the field. #SteelersRookie #SteelersNation pic.twitter.com/8mZLnvp9VM

Camp outlook: The 2018-19 offseason saw big-time turnover at the inside linebacker position as the Steelers moved on from Jon Bostic and L.J. Fort and added free agent Mark Barron, first-round pick Devin Bush and Gilbert in the sixth round. He’ll have a long climb up the depth chart while he makes the transition to inside linebacker, but has experience playing in sub package defense that should help.
Projected role: Gilbert could beat out Tyler Matakevich for a spot, or could end up as the ninth linebacker if the Steelers decide to keep one.
