STEELERS TRANSACTIONS

Myles Jack and Eric Rowe have been elevated from the practice squad for the fourth consecutive week.

THE OTHER SIDE

The Bills will be without wide receiver Gabe Davis and safety Taylor Rapp for sure. Cornerback Rasul Douglas and linebacker Tyrel Dodson are questionable.

THE LAST TIME

The Bills got a 98-yard touchdown from Josh Allen to Davis and never looked back, routing the Steelers, 38-3 at Highmark Stadium last October in Kenny Pickett’s first game as a starting quarterback.

STEELERS-BILLS SERIES

The Steelers are 17-12 all-time against the Bills, but since Allen’s arrival on the scene, he has tilted the scales. The Steelers and bills have played in each of the last four seasons, with Allen and the Bills winning three of them.

Before that, the Steelers had won six straight games against Buffalo from 2001 to 2016.

PITTSBURGH CONNECTIONS

Former Steelers linebacker Tyler Matakevich is a backup middle linebacker and special teamer for the Bills.

Cornerback Dane Jackson and safety Damar Hamlin are both Pittsburgh natives and Pitt alums. Jackson went to Cornell and played football at Quaker Valley. Hamlin attended Central Catholic.

Douglas is a West Virginia alum.

Owner Terry Pegula is a Penn State alum and offensive coordinator Joe Brady was a graduate assistant with the Nittany Lions from 2015-16.
