Steelers Continue to Show Strong Interest in Jaxson Dart
The Pittsburgh Steelers are planning to host Mississippi quarterback Jaxson Dart for a top-30 pre-draft visit.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart for a pre-draft visit at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on Friday.
The meeting will be the third between the Steelers top brass and Dart. They previously met with him at the 2025 Senior Bowl and had a formal interview at the 2025 NFL Combine. The Steelers also sent assistant general manager Andy Weidl to the Ole Miss pro day.
Dart, 21, has been rising up draft boards over the past couple of months after throwing for 10,617 yards, 72 touchdowns and 22 interceptions during his three years at Mississippi. He also rushed for 1,500 yards and 12 more scores.

However, he is currently the consensus No. 32 overall player on the NFL Mock Draft Database big board. So the Steelers would likely have to use their first-round pick if they hope to land him, or trade back into the later parts of the first round to do so.
The Steelers need to add to their quarterback room with just Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson under contract for the 2025 season, and general manager Omar Khan said to expect to add two more players earlier this week at the NFL owner’s meetings. One of those two will likely be free agent veteran Aaron Rodgers, but the Steelers could look to make another big splash at the position with Dart early in the draft class, as well.
