Steelers Daily: Acrisure Stadium Latest in Offseason of Change

Published

on

Ben Roethlisberger is no longer the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, Kevin Colbert is no longer the general manger, Keith Butler is no longer the defensive coordinator, and now Heinz Field is no longer Heinz Field, as the Steelers one-year deal with Heinz was not renewed and was instead replaced by one with Acrisure to make it Acrisure Stadium.

The terms of the new deal have not been released, but it is believed to be a longer-term deal than the one-year contract the Steelers and Kraft Heinz had been operating under following the expiration of their 20-year pact in 2020.

It’s also not clear what the new name will mean in terms of changes to the stadium itself. There are a pair of 35-foot ketchup bottles atop the video board that will probably not be easy to move. Stay tuned.
