Ex-Steelers inside linebacker Robert Spillane shined in primetime for the Raiders with a key interception late in Las Vegas’ 16-12 win over the New York Jets. It was Spillane’s third interception on the season. Spillane announced after the game during an interview with Melissa Stark’s of NBC Sports that he and his wife are expecting their first child.

🏈 NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah has been blown away by Broderick Jones’ play.

Steelers rookie OT Broderick Jones jumps off the screen when you look at all of their explosive runs. He is dominating. HR pick!!!” Jeremiah wrote on X.

The Steelers have rushed for 166 and 205 yards in their last two games since Jones was inserted into the starting lineup at right tackle.

🏈 The Steelers continue to avoid the middle of the field. Not a single pass by Kenny Pickett went over the middle of the field beyond 5 yards against Green Bay.

🏈 Mike Tomlin thanked the Steelers alumni who came to the Steelers-Packers game on Sunday. Santonio Holmes, Kordell Stewart, Joey Porter Sr., Alan Faneca, Maurkice Pouncey, Marcus Gilbert and Kendrell Bell were some of the former Steelers players in attendance.

“What an honor to have this group of Steelers legends, and more, join us for today’s game,” Tomlin wrote on Instagram.

Former New York Giants center Shaun O’Hara thinks the Steelers will be a dangerous team if they make the postseason.

“Nobody wants to play a team like this, a defense like that, in the playoffs…” O’Hara said on Good Morning Football.

🎂 Happy Birthday to former Steelers wide receiver Cobi Hamilton, born on November 13, 1990 in Texarkana, Texas.

🎥 A few from the stands clearly shows that the Steelers got away with a lateral against the Packers. CBS rules analyst Gene Steratore thought there wasn’t enough evidence to overturn the call, but CBS color commentator Charles Davis strongly disagreed and thought it was a lateral. The referees immediately blew their whistles, thinking it was an incomplete pass, so Green Bay might not have got the ball back regardless if the call was overturned.
