🏈 Former Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker James Harrison blames NFL rules for Nick Chubb’s season-ending knee injury, not Minkah Fitzpatrick.

“You’ve made it to where if a guy goes in there and comes in high and hits him in the head, now he’s getting fined,” Harrison told TMZ Sports. “So what do you have to do? You’ve got guys shooting low now. That’s just what you’ve done made the game into.”

🏈 Las Vegas Raiders linebacker Robert Spillane is looking forward to playing his former team on Sunday night. He also had high praise for Mike Tomlin.

“Yeah, I love Coach Tomlin,” Spillane said. “Helped me develop as a man and as a football player. So, a hundred percent respect to him and what he does. I’m just excited for the battle this weekend.”

🏈 Steelers outside linebacker Alex Highsmith signed with Nike.

🏈 Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson talked about the criticism that he’s received following the loss to Pittsburgh on Monday night. Watson has reportedly blocked several members of the Cleveland media on X.

🏈 Per Ian Hartitz of Fantasy Life, 31 quarterbacks have started at least 10 games since the beginning of 2022. Only two have failed to throw even 10 touchdowns — Kenny Pickett and Zach Wilson.

🎂 Happy Birthday to former Steelers tight end Xavier Grimble, born on September 22, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Grimble played for the Steelers from 2016-2019, He caught 23 passes for 239 yards (10.4 average) and three touchdowns in his four seasons in Pittsburgh.

🎥 Former Steelers free safety Ryan Clark said Minkah Fitzpatrick shouldn’t have had to defend himself over a legal tackle on Nick Chubb.

Minkah Fitzpatrick did nothing wrong! The hit was clean, and was in no way dirty,” Clark said on ESPN. “He had a split second to make a decision before a car crash. Of course as players you want everyone to walk out of the stadium the same way they walk in, but that’s not reality. His ONLY job is to stop opp paining offenses and players from gaining extra yards, and scoring points. He’s not responsible for the health of other players. Actually, going low helps preserve his help! Defenders, “are people too” – Fitzpatrick shouldn’t have to make this point!
