Kay Adams of Up & Adams thinks Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt should win NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Watt is in competition with Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons and Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett for the award. Watt currently has +230 odds to win DPOY, just behind Parsons and Garrett, who are both at +220.

🏈 Former NFL defensive back Jason McCourty thinks the Pittsburgh Steelers are a potential legit threat to the Kansas Chiefs in the AFC because of T.J. Watt.

🏈 NFL.com released its preview for the Steelers-Jaguars game on Sunday. Six of the 10 analysts have the Steelers beating Jacksonville.

🏈 Kenny Pickett talked about the chemistry that he has with George Pickens on Mad Dog Sports Radio.

“I think we mesh really well together, personally,” Pickens said. “Just where we’re very honest with each other on the field and calling things like when we see it. You know, we’re on the same page. The communication off the field is awesome and on the sideline, he tells me what he sees, I tell him, and then we go out there and we execute. And you know, I always want to give him opportunities. I’ve been preaching that since I got here.

“He’s a guy that if he’s one-on-one, he’s gotta get the football. He’s too good of a player not to give those opportunities to. Just want to continue doing that, continue to give him and Diontae as many opportunities as we can to help us win games. You know, if we do that, I think we’ll be successful.”

🏈  Due to the Steelers’ immense offensive struggles, Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd can’t believe that he ranked Pittsburgh as the No. 6 team in his most recent power rankings. Cowherd credits the Steelers’ defense for carrying them to a 4-2 record so far, but noted that Kenny Pickett has been clutch in the fourth quarter of games.

“Some of these games shouldn’t be that close,” Cowherd said. “But Kenny Pickett in the fourth quarter this year…he’s got some swag and confidence.”

🏈 The Steelers’ offense ranks bottom in the NFL in yards per game 31st (273.5), total QBR 30th (35), points per game 29th (14.5) and 28th in efficiency (27).

🎂 Happy Birthday to former Steelers offensive lineman B.J. Finney, born on October 26, 1991 in Wichita, Kansas. Also, Happy Birthday to former Steelers defensive bak Chris Oldham, born on October 26, 1966 in Sacramento, California.

🎥 2Cool2Blog on X posted a video of Mike Tomlin meeting rapper GloRilla at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on Tuesday. GloRilla is a lifelong Steelers fan, so she was thrilled to meet Tomlin.
