🏈 Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris has 11 15+ yard runs this season. Nobody in the league has more 15+ yard runs than Harris this year.

🏈 The Steelers’ offense has gained +214 rushing yards over expected since Week 9 (2nd in the NFL), after gaining -39 rushing yards over expected (RYOE) in Weeks 1-8, per Next Gen Stats. The improvement in the Steelers run game has coincided with first round pick Broderick Jones taking over at right tackle in Week 9.

NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger said on 93.7 The Fan without hesitation Jones has been the key to the Steelers’ success on the ground.

“Broderick. Broderick Jones. He’s just so athletic, so natural, they pull him, get him out on the perimeter. The two additions of him and Seumalo you can’t say enough about,” Baldinger said

🏈 According to Ryan Scarpino, since 2010, the record for teams with at least 400 yards but scored 16 points or less in a game is 9-69-1. The Steelers have two of the nine wins. That other win came in 2011, Thursday Night Football against Cleveland (14-3).

🏈 Former NFL quarterback and Hall of Famer Kurt Warner broke down Kenny Pickett’s first game without Matt Canada.

For next week’s Thursday Night Football matchup the graphic for the Steelers-Patriots game had Bill Belichick vs. T.J. Watt. The fact that Amazon Prime Video didn’t promote a New England player, showcases just how bad of a season it’s been for the 2-9 Patriots.

Among 62 corners with 250+ snaps in coverage, Steelers rookie Joey Porter Jr. ranks first in completion percentage allowed as the primary coverage defender, according to Jacob Gibbs of FantasyPros. JPJ’s 12.6% target per coverage snap rate sits right between Sauce Gardner (11.9%) and Marshon Lattimore (13.4%).

🎥 In an interview with Good Morning Football, Cam Heyward discussed what the locker room was like after the Steelers’ 16-10 win over the Bengals in Cincinnati on Sunday.
