Steelers Depth Chart, Week 13 vs Arizona Cardinals

Steelers Depth Chart

The Pittsburgh Steelers likely won’t have to make a ton of changes when they face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 13, but they will shift around ac couple of bodies on defense in this week’s depth chart.

Minkah Fitzpatrick will make his return at free safety, moving Damontae Kazee back to strong safety, where he will now play ahead of Trenton Thompson instead of alongside him. Thompson could still see some playing time from that slot, as Keanu Neal did earlier this season, particularly against big Arizona tight end Trey McBride. Miles Killebrew will be the fourth safety.

At inside linebacker, Blake Martinez, who was signed from the Carolina Panthers practice squad two weeks ago, is still not ready to go and will likely again be scratched. Called up to replace him this week is Kyron Johnson, who will likely fill the special teams role that has been held by Tariq Carpenter the last three weeks. Carpenter has been promoted from the practice squad the maximum number of times, and the Steelers must place him on the 53-man roster if they wish to play him again. Instead, the team will turn to Johnson, who played special teams for the Philadelphia Eagles last year and can play both inside and outside linebacker.
