Alan Saunders of Steelers Now joined VSiN’s Follow the Money with Mitch Moss and Pauly Howard on Thursday to preview the 2023 Pittsburgh Steelers season and how things might play out for the gambling public.

The guys talked about how big of a jump should be expected from Kenny Pickett in his first full season as starting quarterback, and whether the Steelers offense can get out of the bottom of the league in terms of advanced offensive metrics.

They also broke down the reasons for Diontae Johnson’s zero touchdowns in 2022 and what it will take for him to return to the scoring form that he showed in 2020 and 2021.

“What Diontae Johnson really needs is this offense to be more explosive and start scoring some touchdowns from outside the 10-yard box.”

When it comes to the win total, over 8.5 for the Black and Gold has been a very popular bet, and seemingly with good reason. The Steelers have gone over their win total in three straight seasons, and could be poised to do it once again.
