Steelers Get Good News on Najee Harris Injury
The Pittsburgh Steelers got good news on the ankle injury for starting running back Najee Harris.
PITTSBURGH — The ankle injury suffered by Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris against the Washington Commanders does not seem like it will keep him out of this week’s contest against the Baltimore Ravens.
After missing Wednesday’s first practice session of the week, Harris was a full participant on Thursday’s practice and said he feels ready to go for Sunday.
The 6-foot-1, 242-pound Harris has never missed an NFL game, having started 60 straight contests since the Steelers selected him in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. And he certainly wouldn’t be missing this one, and the chance to go toe-to-toe with fellow former Alabama big back Derrick Henry and the Ravens.
Harris has been playing some of his best football this season. The injury on Sunday cost him a shot at his fourth straight 100-yard game. His 71.7 yards per game is currently a career high, and he has also added 17 caches for another 152 yards in the receiving game.
