EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Steelers offensive linemen Zach Banner and Stefen Wisniewski both suffered potentially serious injuries late in the team’s 26-16 victory over the New York Giants on Monday.

Wisniewski, who was playing in place of injured starting guard David DeCastro, suffered a pectoral injury in the fourth quarter and did not return to the game.

Banner suffered a left knee injury one play later, as the Steelers scored a decisive touchdown to put the game away.

Head coach Mike Tomlin said after the game that both players, as well as injured starting running back James Conner, who left with an ankle injury, were still being evaluated.

Wisniewski was replaced by rookie Kevin Dotson and Banner was spelled by Chukwuma Okorafor.

The Steelers have a quick turnaround for their next game, at home on Sunday afternoon against the Denver Broncos.
