The Pittsburgh Steelers have thrived as underdogs in the 2023 season, as they are 4-2 overall when picked by the oddsmakers to lose a game, but they’ll have to find a way to win as a favorite for the first time this coming Thursday against the Tennessee Titans. The Steelers have been a favorite just once before this season. They were favored by three points in their 30-6 loss to Houston in Week 4. The Steelers were unable to cover a 2.5-point spread against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, losing 20-10. The Titans are 4-3 against the spread, and have also been favored just one time this season. They’re 4-2 as underdogs.

Six of the Steelers’ seven games have gone under the total and five of the Titans’ seven games have gone under the total, though they went over in Sunday’s 28-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons thanks to four touchdown passes by rookie quarterback Will Levis.
