Steelers left tackle Dan Moore Jr. has suffered a left knee injury and is questionable to return to the game. Rookie Broderick Jones is now in the game in relief of Moore, sitting on the bench after heading into the blue medical tent following an injury on the Steelers’ first drive.

Jones has played just four snaps in the NFL before this when Chuks Okorafor suffered an injury at the end of the team’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Meanwhile, Moore has played on all the team’s snaps so far this season, and the knee injury opens the door for Jones to step into the game. However, on the first two pass-blocking snaps he played, Jones got beat. The Steelers are already without starting right guard James Daniels, and for a team who did not miss much time along the offensive line in 2022, they already have some attrition this year.

Moore has been graded as one of the worst tackles in football by Pro Football Focus, with calls for Jones clamoring in recent weeks. However, after an up-and-down preseason from the Georgia product, the Steelres have guarded their rookie left tackle early in his career. Now, Jones will have an opportunity to show the Steelers what he can do with Moore banged up.
