Steelers Open as Week 3 Favorites at Raiders

The Pittsburgh Steelers haven’t even played their Week 2 game, but there is already a gambling line available for their Week 3 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Steelers and Raiders will play next Sunday night at Allegiant Stadium, the first time the Steelers have ever played in Las Vegas, and the game is projected to be a tight one, with the gambling line opening with the Steelers as narrow favorites.

Most books have the Steelers as 1-point favorites, though Bet MGM has the team as a 1.5-point expected winner as of 8 a.m. on Monday. The Steelers are -120 to win on a moneyline. The total for the game is over/under 44.5.

The Steelers did not cover the spread and went under the total in their first game against the San Francisco 49ers. They are underdogs to the Cleveland Browns for Monday Night Football, so they will be favored for the first time against Las Vegas.

The Raiders are 1-1 against the spread, winning outright over the Denver Broncos as a three-point underdog in Week 1, but losing by 28 as a 7.5-point underdog to the Buffalo Bills in Week 2. The Raiders have had one game go under and one game go over the total.
