Steelers Rookie Minicamp

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers will host 51 players for their rookie minicamp, which will take place over the next two days at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.

The roster includes the team’s seven draft picks, five first-year players from 2022 that did not dress in a game last year, six undrafted free agents and 33 tryouts.

Two players that were expected to be on the roster are not: former XFL wide receiver Hakeem Butler, who was expected to be here on a tryout, and Iowa State offensive lineman Trevor Downing, who agreed to a contract with the team as an undrafted free agent.

The Steelers have four vacant slots on their 90-man roster they could use to sign players on tryouts.
