Steelers Scratch Anenih, Green, Robinson 4 Others vs. NY Jets

PITTSBURGH — Practice squad call-ups Ryan Alexander and Josh Jackson are active for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday afternoon against the New York Jets.

Alexander replaces Delontae Scott, who was released from the practice squad after playing in each of the last two games. Alexander got the call ahead of David Anenih, who is scratched for the third consecutive week.

Jackson will replace Ahkello Witherspoon, who will miss the game with a hamstring injury suffered in Week 3 at Cleveland.

The rest of the Steelers other five scratches are the same for the fourth consecutive week, as guard Kendrick Green, defensive lineman Isaiahh Loudermilk, inside linebacker Mark Robinson, quarterback Mason Rudolph and wide receiver Steven Sims are all scratched for their third consecutive game.

Linebacker Quincy Williams (ankle) is out for the Jets, while cornerback Brandin Echols (hamstring)

The Jets elevated tackle Grant Hermans and linebacker Hamsah Nasirildeen from their practice squad this week and both players are dressed. Tight end Lawrence Cager, cornerback Bryce Hall, wide receiver Denzel Mims, tackle Cedric Ogbuehi and safety Will Parks are scratched for the Jets.
